Vive content bundle says it was already used?

Bought a new vive a few days ago from Gamestop. Finally found the content code in my box and tried to redeem it but says it was used. I bought the vive brand new though. So what gives? I really do love the Vive and i'd love to expand my library a bit, but I already had to return my first one I purchased because a lighthouse tracker came DOA and I don't want to have to rip down my setup to return it a second time.

If your base station has a Fault 02/03 error or a red light or both, the ONLY solution is to contact our support on vive.com and set up an RMA. There is no user fix for this issue.

I ended up finding a defect in my vive unit. I exchange it with game stop and got a new one so I got a new code. All is well now
