For a project, I recently made a tower defense game with Unity. I put it into VR (HTC Vive) now where the game is projected on the horizon. I want the user to be able to grab the tower objects and drag them to a node on the playing field from a distance (the blue spots). I already have a working laser pointer, but I have no idea how to select the tower it is aiming to and subsequently drag it to the right node.
So basically, I want to translate the 2D unity game into a 3D VR game and replace the cursor for the 2D game in a laser-pointing HTC Vive Controller. Can someone help me??
