How backordered are you all?

Hey HTG! Congrats on this amazing drop! Lots of orders, indeed! That said, I just ordered my setup now and am wondering how back ordered you actaully are ATM?

Most North American shipping regions are distributing under normal conditions. You may however experience some delays with the order status / tracking system. The EU does have some backorder.

Thanks for your prompt reply! I ask because the order page said there was a back order when I placed mine and my bank was charged immediately for the bundle extras but is still not charged for the headset itself. Does that mean anything?

They may be shipping separately due to immediate availability. Orders are being processed and shipped out sequentially and it may take a few days to process all of the pre-orders - if I learn of any major issues with availability I'll ping you.

I'm pretty sure, 2 weeks in and no order filled yet, that your initial assessment of US not being backordered was very wrong. Just saying.... Quite disappointing.

That makes sense. I'm sorry I was harsh. I do CS myself, so I actually feel bad for complaining with salt. I've been anxious not knowing what was up, so now that I have access to the official info, I feel better. Not knowing is the worst part. Thanks for the info!

 

PS: So from what that says, having ordered on the 6th, I'll see it shipped likely within 5 days of today and definately within 10. I actually feel a lot less anxious now! hehe! Cheers!

Thanks for your reply! I just got the mounting brackets only, sent to my house yesterday and the headset only has been pre-authorized at my bank. Did they do that with you? Sending the mounting brackets for the bay stations first? Guessing to verify I receveid the cheapest part before the main shipment?

I ordered on the 9th and got my headset and brackets yesterday, has anyone got any information on when the controllers or base stations will ship? My order said will ship in April, not partial shipments in April so I hope they send them soon. But people on reddit are saying they are delayed for some time. 

 

Is there any HTC staff that can provide any details on this? Thanks

I ordered on the 6th and only got my brackets yesterday. No headset no controllers and none of them have even been shipped yet. Does anyone know what's up? PS: And I was told they'd ship in April as well. If they aren't shipped by Monday, I'm raising hell. I was charged initially as a pre-auth the $299 for the controllers. That went back into my bank in a week. I was charged as a preauth the $799 for the HS on Monday and it's now back in my bank as well. Really HTC, WTF?

 

UPDATE: I just checked my order and invoice agan... The 'April" is now gone and not replaced by another month.... If that means what I think it does I'm going to go ballisitc.........

There back ordered man you probably won't see it till some time mid may or you may see it sooner just all depends.

I think the problem is the headset was backordered, and people have got the headsets. And the starter kit that was listed as in stock, is not shipping. It's a problem of false advertising when they say, look we have this product. Then whene people buy it they say just kidding we don't have any. But we should get some within the next 2 mounts.

 

They just shouldn't list items as in stock, when they know they don't have any. (And at the time of writing this headset is backordered, Pro starter kit is not).
