I have a problem with sound quality on my Vive pro, As mine is very tinny sound no bass tone at all.
Is it a known bug or has it been shipped with faulty earphones

I would like to add myself to the list. I hear a lot of high pitched sounds and very little low bass sounds. As such, the sound coming from the ear buds is 'tinny'. Meaning it sounds like it is coming from a tin can. I have tried many different positions on the ear buds but still get the same experiance.
It may be beause I switched from the Deluxe Audio Strap on my old Vive setup. It had great sound. But still, there should be more bass sounds coming out of this $800.00 piece of equipment.

Has this been addressed?
I updated firmware but i feel like it is still very tinny and missing lower range frequencies.
I think its exacerbated by the ear peices not really sitting flush with the ear as they did in the audio strap

Mine has a severe audio "crackling" issue. Is this also a known issue?
Update: After a cold reboot, Steam updated on launch and the issue has resolved itself. Sorry for the false alarm.

Just to add I also get the same issue on my Vive Pro on the sound sounding terrible, tinny and with no bass at all. I'm glad to hear it is a known issue wich is being worked on because as it stands my device is unusable like this.
I've tried switching audio devices to see if that is the problem but it didn't make any difference.

Hello. I know it's a known issue, but I figure the more people talking about it, the more HTC will realise how serious of an issue it is. Especially since they were boasting about the audio quality...then there's no bass. How did no one actually test the audio of the device months ago?
I'm not trying to be rude, but at the same time, customers have paid lots of money for a product that was supposed to have great sound.
