Is the i5 4690K powerful enough for the vive wireless adapter?

I know, I read the minimum hardware requirements, and I know it TECHNICALLY can handle the wireless adapter,

However, I've been hearing people say that i5 CPU's (new and old) in general have difficulties running the wireless appilcation smoothly.

So, before I go dropping 300 dollars on this amazing product, I would like to know if my CPU would be able to even handle the darn thing without any graphical issues, in the first place.

Specs:

GTX 1070ti

Intel core i5 4690k (no oc)

16 gigs of ram

I have performance issues with a 4790k @ 4.7Ghz. You’ll definitely have issues with your processor.
